What your students will learn:
1) The meaning of Mindfulness and how they can use it in their everyday lives.
2) How to use creative exercises to feel calmer.
3) How to empower ourselves through better understanding our thoughts and emotions.
Performance techniques they’ll be using:
1) Role play will be used to explore how we can use mindfulness and creativity to foster a sense of calm. For example, how it can be used in the classroom or playground?
2) Breathing exercises and Mindfulness will be used to engage in a relaxing Body Scan exercise.
3) Music, Movement and Props will be used to build self confidence and explore emotions, understanding the link between mind and body. Participants will help Rosalind create an emotion potion! Specifically exploring how our thoughts and emotions can make us feel.
